I swear that I'm not going to cry

Today Cody moved away to college. While I knew this moment would be coming, it still doesn't make it suck any less. I'm really going to miss him and it's hard knowing I'm not going to see him for a couple of months. On a bittersweet note, a new episode of Glee starts tomorrow. While it's my favorite show, it's also something that Cody and I watched together every week. It's going to be lonely tomorrow when he's not viewing it with me anymore. So, to cheer myself up, I watched a few sneak peeks to this year's season.

  2. Amber-It was so hard to give him a hug goodbye. It's not easy to let them go.

So, I guess my "One more year! One more year!" Parental Freedom Chant that I posted on my daughter's FB page yesterday (her 17th bday)was not something you did on Cody's 17th Bday? Yeah, I know. It's not gonna be easy. I joke but I know it won't be easy. Seventeen years plus 30 hours of labor have gone by really fast and then college and then she's gonna be living her life on her own. Okay - who am I kidding? The seventeen years flew but those 30 hours SEEMED like seventeen years. Knowing you did good by him will help you. Won't make it easy, but it will help. So will Facetime if you both have iphones.

  4. Laura-Yeah, it's really hard. I know he has to grow up, but I still wish I could keep him forever.

  5. Since I work at night, I have to admit I've never seen Glee, but it sounds like a lot of fun. You might want to follow "Buck Hollywood" on YouTube. He follows a lot of shows and often comments on them on his M-W-F shows.
