I know I've said this before, but it deserves to be repeated. My son and all other GLBT individuals face discrimination at every turn.In Michigan, he can be fired from his job or denied housing, just based on his orientation. While gay marriage has passed in some states, here it's still not legal. Plus, the American Red Cross still is refusing to take blood donations from gay and bisexual men.
“It takes no compromising to give people their rights. It takes no money to respect the individual. It takes no survey to remove repressions.” Harvey Milk
With liberty and justice for ALL, dammit.
ReplyDeleteChris-someday when marriage is legal in Michigan and Cody has met the man of his dreams, you are so invited to the wedding.
ReplyDeleteWoo-hoo!! :)
ReplyDeleteI posted a link to your site for this on my blog. I am for equal rights for all men and women. Don't we all deserve to marry the ones we love, whether it's another man or another woman?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Diana!
